へのへのファミリーの日常から日本語の繰り返し言葉(もしもしワード)を楽しく学ぼう！！子供から大人まで、日本人も外国人も一緒に楽しみながら日本語、英語を学ぶことができるバイリンガルカードゲームです。

MOSHI-MOSHI is a card game that can be enjoyed by both Japanese and other nationalities and people of all ages while learning repetitive Japanese words(like moshi-moshi) from the everyday life of the HENO-HENO family.

もし + もし = もしもし５０組(100枚)のカードを組み合わせて様々な遊びを楽しもう！ “MOSHI + MOSHI = MOSHI-MOSHI” Have fun playing various games that use these 50 pairs of matching cards!

HOW TO PLAY

全てのイラストカードを表向き(イラスト上)に広げます。司会役がテキストカードを読み、読み上げられたカードを素早く取り合う「かるたゲーム」。全てのイラスト&テキストカードを並べた「2枚取りかるた」もプレイ可能です!

For this game, all the illustration cards are spread out face up, and then as one player chosen as the reader reads out text cards, the other players try to be the first to grab the matching illustration card.

You can also spread both illustration and text cards out and play 2-card Karuta with the reader reading from the booklet.

Both illustration and text cards are all placed face down, and players try to match illustration and text pairs.

If matching 50 pairs involves too much memorizing, you can play this game with just half the number of pairs.

イラストカードを裏向きに積み、それぞれが取ったもしもしワードをジェスチャーで表現するゲーム。日本語を勉強中の方とは、もしもしワードを伝えてどのような意味か当ててもらうゲームも盛り上がります！

This is a game in which the illustration cards are placed upside down in a stack and each player in turn takes the top card and uses gestures to express the meaning of the word on the card.

For those studying Japanese, the player who picks up the card could tell the other players what the word is and get them to see if they can explain what it means.

日本の繰り返し言葉

日本語のオノマトペ(擬音語、擬態語等)はとても歴史が古く、古事記や万葉集といった一千年以上前の書籍にも登場します。またその数も多く4000-5000語あると言われており、近年でも漫画やSNSなど影響により新しいオノマトペがどんどんと生まれています。本ゲームでは、オノマトペの中でも「もし」+「もし」などの同じ言葉を重ねて使う言葉を「もしもしワード」と名付け、日常でよく使われる言葉を厳選しています。

Repetitive Japanese words

Japanese onomatopoeic and mimetic words go back a very long way, appearing as they do in books such as the Kojiki and Manyoshu written over 1,000 years ago. There are said to be as many as 4,000 to 5,000 such words, with more and more being born in recent years through manga and social media. This game focuses on onomatopoeic and mimetic Japanese words that are also repetitive. We have named those “MOSHI-MOSHI” words, and carefully selected 50 of them that are used frequently in everyday life for this game.

HENO HENO FAMILY

カードに登場するへのへのファミリーを紹介します。へのへのファミリーは、江戸時代から伝わる日本の伝統工芸品「こけし」をモチーフにしたキャラクターです。へのへのファミリーの顔は、ひらがなを使って顔を描く江戸時代から伝わる日本の文字遊び（文字絵）「へのへのもへじ」で書かれています。

Here are the members of the HENO-HENO family featuring in the cards. The HENO-HENO family is based on kokeshi, traditional wooden dolls originating in Japan’s Edo period (1603–1868). The faces of the HENO-HENO family are derived from the Edo period henohenomoheji emoticon drawn just with Japanese hiragana characters.
